Your initial consultation with an accredited medical practitioner includes program specific analyses to determine candidacy. Specific tests will confirm your Body Mass Index (BMI) or Body Fat Content. Medical history and health details are needed to finalize the assessment process. This medically supervised program consists of three (3) phases:
1. Acute Weight Loss - We start with our personalized initial assessment to determine your specific weight loss needs and goals. If you have any health risks related to obesity, we address those issues and concerns as well as your overall health and wellness.
2. Transition Step - During this six-week period, we encourage increased physical activity and provide education on an individualized, low-caloric nutrition plan designed to help you lose weight safely and rapidly, explaining the benefits of eating the right combinations of food, and providing support and strategies to maintain your ideal weight. Medications will be gradually decreased and discontinued by the end of week four. The final three weeks incorporate information and guidance to prepare for Phase Three.
3. Long Term Maintenance - Phase Three of the program is designed to assist in preventing past failures and ensure lifestyle changes necessary to maintain your ideal weight and realize the health benefits of this choice. Weekly visits become monthly sessions with medical staff who review weight results and provide supplemental injections, if required. Review of activity level and dietary habits allow further education on wellness treatments available to maximize long-term results.
