MINI FACELIFT
REFRESH. RENEW.

The Mini FaceLift, which is also known as a Short Scar Facelift or an S lift, is a cosmetic procedure that tightens the skin and soft tissues in a person's face. By repositioning and tightening the skin, the patient is able to enjoy a more youthful appearance. Although similar to the traditional facelift, the mini facelift utilizes slightly different techniques in order to minimize the amount of scarring. The board-certified medical team at The MIAMI Institute specialize in facial plastic surgery and performs a Mini FaceLift individually or in conjunction with other cosmetic procedures for a remarkable overall improvement. The end results of a mini facelift are beautiful, positive, aesthetic results, which are natural in appearance.

"Great doctor. Great team. I love my new face."

MIAMI Institute Patient

The mini-facelift relies on sutures placed in the deeper layers of the face to lift the soft tissue, which achieves a long-lasting lift; then the skin is re-draped to remove the excess skin. Most patients can return to their social schedule/work schedule within a week. There are less sutures than a traditional facelift and the healed incisions, because they are kept to a minimum, are often difficult to discern. Although the procedure reduces the number of incisions made, the mini facelift can successfully reduce the amount of drooping and sagging of the skin. In addition, it provides a shorter recovery time than a traditional facelift.
