MIAMI FACIAL LIPOSUCTION
SCULPT. CONTOUR.

Now among one of the most popular cosmetic surgical procedures, facial liposuction or facial lipoplasty, removes undesirable fat from under the chin and neck. Liposuction is not a substitute for a healthy diet and exercise, however it can eliminate areas of fat deposition that are unresponsive to weight loss and are the result of facial aging. Facial liposuction, unlike body liposuction, is an elegant, direct, and very precise technique that removes excess facial fat deposits, using small, delicate, instruments that help to sculpt and contour the face.

Through several tiny incisions, fat can be suctioned and sculpted to the desired contour. Liposuction results in minimal post-operative discomfort which is easily controlled with oral medication. A chinstrap is recommended for the first week after surgery and some bruising and swelling around the neck is to be expected. Not infrequently neck liposuction is combined with a facelift or a chin implant.

Ideal candidates are:

  • Young patients who still have "baby fat" in and around the neck (jowls), under the chin, or in the cheeks.
  • Patients who want more definition in their neck and face.
  • Slightly over-weight patients who would like to have their faces look leaner and more natural while they are losing body weight.
  • Patients who have lost considerable weight but who still have persistent fatty deposits in the face.
