PRP Rejuvenation Therapy
The Natural Alternative

PRP Rejuvenation Therapy is a natural alternative to synthetic dermal fillers, based on the patient's natural regenerating factors. It focuses on promoting new tissue growth to correct a root cause of skin aging. This revolutionary new filler is deemed one of the most promising breakthrough's in facial rejuvenation, and is making its U.S. debut.  This innovative treatment uses the patient's own blood to prepare a Platelets Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) which is then used to correct the effects of skin aging.

Research has discovered that the perfect partner is the patient's own platelets and fibrin, offering a cost effective alternative to more invasive surgery.

"We're harnessing the healing and regenerative power of the human body to rejuvenate the face."

Julio F. Gallo, MD, FACS

PRP Rejuvenation Therapy is a safe and rapid preparation of a soft tissue regenerator referred to as Platelet Rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM).  Dr. Gallo injects PRFM into a treatment area to stimulate cells, contour the face and promote an increase of volume and rejuvenation. A small volume of blood is drawn from the patient and then centrifuged to separate platelets, serum and fibrin which is then activated, resulting in the PRFM that is injected to promote facial rejuvenation.

Upon administration, platelets release natural tissue regenerating factors and studies showed that platelet growth factors are released for up to 7 days, supporting collagen production and dermal matrix reconstruction.  Pronounced effects occur approximately four to six weeks after the procedure. Patients have reported significant improvement to last one to two years.Since the procedure uses no synthetic materials, there is virtually no risk of allergic reaction and no significant adverse events have been reported.  For this reason PRP Rejuvenation Therapy can be used in many areas to achieve skin rejuvenation.

"Dermal fillers will always be a major part of ant-aging and, sometimes, as an option to facial plastic surgery.  This exciting, new alternative offers us the latest technology and lasting results. The patient has minimal downtime, with some bruising but otherwise the recovery is very fast.", Dr. Gallo concludes.
