Miami Cosmetic Dentist offers one-visit Dental Restorations with
State-of-the-Art CEREC Technology

The most sophisticated technology available to cosmetic dentists today, CEREC allows beautiful and incredibly accurate tooth-colored restorations to be completed in one visit instead of two. CEREC uses natural-looking, tooth-colored material, so no silver fillings show. A reflective powder is “painted” over the tooth to be treated and a picture of the tooth is taken using a high-tech 3-D camera. This image is displayed on a computer screen where the restoration is designed using the computer.
CEREC then goes to work, automatically reproducing the design from a ceramic block while the patient waits comfortably with virtual reality glasses. The new restoration is then bonded to the surface of the old tooth. This modern bonding technique allows us to save more of the healthy tooth than ever before. The final result is a restoration with a perfect look, perfect comfort and perfect quality. The CEREC restoration is extremely precise and built to last.

Julio E. Hernandez, D.M.D., has nearly a decade’s experience in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics and prosthodontic services. Quoted frequently by television, radio and print media, Dr. Hernandez is an active member of The American Dental Association and the International Association of Orthodontics. He is a sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
