is that Sexuality is a great human experience
that is central to ones personal identity
and overall well-being. Maintaining Sexual
Health at any age depends as much on ones'
mind as well as ones' physical ability.
Each of us is unique, therefore our sexual
capabilities change, dependent upon the
realities that exist in our lives. Over
a lifetime, we are often confronted with
a variety of issues, which will affect ones
sexuality. These include disability, illness,
medication side effects, aging, stress,
grief, emotional issues and relationship
conflicts.
The goals of Sex Therapy are to realistically
restore and rebalance ones' Sexual Health
as it relates to Sexual Communication, Relationship
Health, Self-Stimulation, Performance Anxiety,
Self-Esteem, Hormone Related Sexual Imbalances,
Emotional Habits, Aging and, both, Women's
and Men's Sexual Health and Dysfunction.
By addressing the root cause of symptoms,
the process of regenerating Sexual Health
can begin. There is a powerful mind/ body
connection between Sexual Wellness and Health.
A few of these benefits are: Strengthening
of the Immune System, the Release of Physical
and Mental Stress, Elevation of Mood, Binding
Relationships and adding Zest to Life!
Times have changed and knowledge has increased
thus causing a shift in psychological and
medical paradigms. Now Sexual Wellness is
an integral part of the model of Health
and Longevity.
