A registered dental hygienist performs regularly supervised cleanings of the teeth and surrounding tissues. Beyond just cleaning and polishing the teeth above the gum line, your hygienist will also remove any tartar below your gums and evaluate all the restorations in your mouth for excessive wear and potential breakdown.

The most important step to any cosmetic dental procedure is the maintenance following those procedures. The MIAMI Institute usually recommends a 3 month, 4 month or 6 month regular maintenance interval during and following all dental procedures.
